For Chroma's ninth release, Swedish techno producer Mattias Fridell (Tonal Path, Compound) gets tapped for a three track EP of groove driven tech funk.

Setting the mood is "Subrogate", an enthralling work of melodious percussion and effects. The objective, fully realized here, is total rhythmic harmony.
"Conveying Motion" continues with a rolling pace. Filtered stabs and percussion dance around the constant, low frequency foundation.
Finally we come to "Predominance", taking a slightly more aggressive approach. Synths rise and bubble out with hypnotic veracity as claps are compressed by the heavy atmosphere of the track.
