about

Adam Jay shows his funkier side with Chroma's third release, "Codes & Signals".
"Codes" kicks things off with a driving, tribal pace accentuated by a 909 percussion line that has become a signature in Adam's tracks. An array of subtly programmed tones helps to create a distinct warehouse vibe. The track continues to build and evolve with a deep synth line that adds a haunting emotion.
Patrick DSP shifts things into high gear with his remix of "Codes". Unrelenting and unforgiving, this take comes through tough as nails, and fiercely ferocious.
The final track of the release, "Signals", is a throw-back of sorts to a more raw tech-house sound. Tones dance around the sharp pattern, breathing resonance and swelling in and out of the funk-laden rhythm beneath.
